USC X Sony/Arrival of the Trojan

The Arrival of the Trojan was a huge collaboration between USC Football, USC Cinema school and Sony camera systems.  Entering the Big 10, we wanted to bring the juice from a content perspective with not only social media, but a new in-game experience at the Coliseum that sparked Flint’s motivation to create this piece.  USC football had a huge stage vs LSU on Sunday, and we wanted to come in with a splash.  This campaign generated over 20 million views in a 6 hour span of release, more than double of the USC vs LSU game.

Clean. Bold. Tradition. Trend.  These elements were crafted in our content creation for the historic 2024 season as USC entered the Big 10.  Our content plan focused on selling USC as the pLAce to be as well as our NIL lead Only USc video series on Youtube.

The Final Tour concept was first initiated at the conclusion of the 2022 season with a nod to the final year in the pac-12 conference.  Our goal was to create a unique campaign with concert style deliverables as a farewell tour covering many final historical matchups in the Pac-12.  Keeping many styles in color forms to USC while emphasizing color removal of punk rock/hip hop art, the overall direction had to feel like a USC graphic with a new twist.

 Our goal with National Signing Day in the new era of college football recruiting was to show the brand power of USC and it’s corporate sponsors to highlight to potential partnerships with athletes with name, image, and likeness.  Our team pitched a music style social media campaign to Beats by Dre and Apple Music to celebrate each signee with a first ever custom playlist for each player of their gameday tunes.

Express your brand is a unique campaign to showcase player driven content with the power of the USC brand.  We utilize brand influencers as collaborators to help build our players' audience outside the football realm through channel extension and amplification.

Photography

Utilizing Sony A1 paired with GMaster lens to have consistent branding with our Sony

eco-system with photo and video.  High contrast with dramatic colors and power angle framing.

Video/Videography

Create a story through clean cinematic framing, music composition and creating a emotional response through visual storytelling.  Utilizing Sony Cine series with FX6 paired with ARRI style color grading to give the viewer a visual message without overpowering transitions.  Productions include pre-game hype pieces, recruiting visual experience, post game recaps and player driven content.  Social evergreen content distribution to include reels/drone content/announcements.
